4/26/2022 “Songwriting is the telling of stories in a way that moves people and makes them think. Upon my first listen to Matthew Stephen I instantly went back to the time I first heard Bono. Songwriters have held up traditions of not only telling stories but also the tradition of bringing awareness to the masses. Matthew Stephen is a modern day storyteller with a magnificent amount of talent. "The Fire" and "Blue and Gold" have a strong message and they are delivered with platinum production that is a great listen all the way through. If you love bands like U2, you are going to want to add this to your playlist. If you are a person loves and values life...... please take a listen to these songs. Be aware, be kind, and never forget the struggle that others face.
