Skopemag.com Review

“Ambient at first, “The Fire” works itself into a frenzy of activity. The song sweeps forward with a gorgeous gaze to it, one that feels doubly refreshing. By ensuring that this song’s rhythm evolves in a careful, compassionate way he gives thanks to those who gave their lives trying to contain the serious threat to safety that Chernobyl possessed. Everything on here deserves to be played with volume.”

Matt’s notes - “The Fire” has ~ 80 tracks. It’s the most complicated of all the songs on the album. It starts easy enough and ends in a tumult. The song was taken from a story about a group of liquidators [in Chernobyl] as told by a driver taking myself and friends from Odessa, Ukraine to Bucharest, Romania in 2016.
